Multiple forms of malnutrition coexist in most countries, globally, toddlers and young children are highly affected, putting them at risk of not achieving their developmental potential. Deficiency of micronutrients, mainly iron, which leads to anaemia, folic acid, vitamin A and zinc are highly common in children under 5 years of age.
