Research shows that people worldwide, whatever their gender, generation, ethnicity and wealth want to live a healthier life and intake healthier foods. But at the same time, consumption of energy dense and nutrition poor foods continues to rise.
There is a great deal of confusion regarding what are healthy dietary choices. The American Heart Association is leading a call to action for partnership between the food industry, policy makers and local communities to inspire consumers towards proper nutrition across the life cycle.
