Malnutrition
Addressing the challenge of malnutrition is complex and requires education at various levels. This includes educating parents on proper child feeding practices and raising awareness among government bodies, health departments, and ministries. To effectively combat this issue, countries need cohesive government policies. Financial resources are a crucial factor, with wealthier nations having more resources to tackle the problem of the double burden of malnutrition, where both overnutrition and undernutrition coexist, often within the same families. This results from a lack of understanding about proper diets for children, adolescents, and adults often leading to metabolic diseases.
