HOT TOPICS 2022: COMTEMPORARY NUTRITION ISSUES

Nutritional intervention is impactful, both integral to medical management and improved
patient quality of life. This program presented during ASPEN 2022 on March 28, 2022 will identify a variety
of contemporary nutrition topics ranging from the nutritional management of short bowel syndrome to
nutritional strategies for augmentation of mucosal immunity, optimization of aging, and promotion of a
healthy microbiome in surgical diseases.

RDs and DTRs practicing in the US may log CPE activities under Activity Type 175 for up to three years
