HMOs and the Shaping of Microbiome Maturation: Review of Evidence and Clinical Implications

The NNI Symposium at the N&G Congress focused on Human Milk Oligosaccharides (HMOs), the science behind it and the roles it plays in gut microbiome development which contributes to the short and long-term health of an infant. Aside from discussing the history of HMO research, the current findings, future directions of this field of study to further the understanding of this crucial element of child growth and development.
