This article provides summaries of four poster presentations from the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology conference in 2019. It summarizes posters that presented the foundational scientific research as well as studies evaluating the efficacy of a feline diet coated with an egg product ingredient containing anti-Fel d 1 IgY antibodies for reducing levels of immunologically active Fel d 1 in cats’ saliva and on their hair and dander. Additionally, the article presents the results of a chamber study evaluating the efficacy of this approach in reducing nasal and ocular symptoms in cat-allergic individuals.
