- TS Lo Foundation Professor of Pediatrics at Chinese University of Hong Kong
- Obtained his fellowship training at University of British Columbia, and Children’s Hospital of British Columbia, as well as a visiting Fellowship at the Children’s Hospital at Munich, Germany
- Has published over 400 indexed original research articles and review articles in his field, and is an associate editor of New England Journal of Medicine
- Director and the Secretary-General of the World Allergy Organization and one of the steering committee members of the ISAAC (International Study of Asthma and Allergies in Childhood) research group
- Main research interests include: treatment, control and prevention of allergic disorders including asthma, food allergies and related wheezing disorders in children
