The congress was organized in cooperation with the annual Dutch "Geriatriedagen”, which is a platform for all workers in the field of geriatric medicine. Consequently, the submitted symposia as well as poster sessions and workshops provided ample opportunities to increase delegates knowledge and skills in geriatric medicine, in good collaboration with other branches of gerontology as well as nursing science. The program offered a great choice of topics for geriatricians and gerontologists, as well as specialized nurses and other paramedics.
