Surgical Immunonutrition (SI) as a Quality Practice Improvement (QPI)

This lecture presented on December 3, 2014 describes factors necessary for successful implementation of surgical immunonutrition (SI) quality practices.  The steps taken to enable patient adherence to a preoperative SI protocol across various surgeries is reviewed along with the clinical outcome trends associated with the addition of this QPI to various types of elective surgery patients.
