Hot Topics: Contemporary Issues in Nutrition Management

This program is a compilation of two Hot Topics sessions recorded at Clinical Nutrition Week 2014.  The first presentation entitled “Countdown to October: Using the New Etiologic Definitions of Malnutrition in the ICD-10 Era” identifies the importance of accurate coding and describes the difference between ICD-9 and ICD-10 codes including the most relevant ICD-9/ICD-10 malnutrition codes.  The second presentation entitled “Obesity Therapy in Ambulatory Patient Management” explains obesity epidemiology & reviews the recent Obesity Treatment Guidelines.
